Acquired in December 2015. Baker Creek offers an assortment of rustic cabins and lodging options and a full service restaurant serving up authentic Canadian cuisine in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

 

At the time of purchase, the price of oil had declined significantly and the Canadian dollar had declined steadily against the U.S. dollar resulting in a flurry of tourist activity particularly within the Canadian National Parks. This asset was well positioned to benefit from the resulting increase in tourist activity in Canada being located between the town site of Banff and Lake Louse.

Since acquisition, renovations and improvements have been completed to portions of the guest accommodation, staff housing, grounds and restaurant to improve the overall guest and employee experience.
